The contracting out of training for the
opening of the new KLIA at Sepang required the
purchasing of 2 completely new radar simulators of more than 25 Nodes, as
well as a number of Non Radar simulators. The contract also involved the purchase
of 3 units of 2-D/2.5-D Aerodrome Simulators and one 360 Degree Aerodrome
simulator.
With the existing facilities and these new
acquisitions, the CAC is very well equipped with a comprehensive range of
facilities to conduct all its courses. The CAC has more than adequate
simulator capacity for the training of Radar and Non Radar Controllers.
Apart from ATC simulators, the college is also equipped to conduct AFTN / AMSS
courses. The list below is comprehensive but not exhaustive.
The college has always been at the forefront
of technological advances to enable it to train world class Controllers to
provide ATM services within the Malaysian FIR’s.
